Objectives

By implementing the project Art of Activism, CYN aimed to provide youth workers and activists with a comprehensive understanding of activism – its theoretical foundations, historical development and its influence on generational changes. The main objectives of the project were to introduce participants to the evolution of activism and foster the exchange of good practices, knowledge and experiences among organizations. Additionally, a key goal was to strengthen collaboration between participating organizations, creating a network of engaged and empowered youth workers and activists. To ensure that these objectives were met and that the learning experience was tailored to the specific needs of participants, the project was structured around two main activities. The Preparatory Visit (PV) allowed participants to engage in preliminary discussions, identify key learning needs, and ensure a high-quality educational experience. This phase was crucial for aligning expectations and adapting the program to the specific contexts of each organization involved. The second and central activity, the Training Course (TC), was designed as a needs-oriented and highly interactive learning experience. It provided participants with the necessary tools and methodologies to enhance their professional development and effectiveness in youth activism. Through this project, we sought to inspire and equip youth workers with the knowledge, skills, and connections necessary to drive positive social change using activism, culture, and art.
