Objectives

By implementing this project, we aimed to strengthen the capacities of partner organizations for higher quality and more innovative work with young people with fewer opportunities, in the fields of sustainable development, environmental and nature protection, and social entrepreneurship. Our goal was to develop and apply new non-formal methods and tools in youth work in order to empower young people in society, encourage their greater involvement in the community, and raise awareness of important environmental and social issues. We also wanted to enable the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and good practices between organizations from different communities and countries, and to empower the staff of partner organizations through education, experiential, and non-formal learning. Through this project, we sought to create an encouraging environment for young people and equal opportunities for all, open new possibilities for cooperation and networking between organizations and youth through a digital platform, and inspire other organizations to improve existing or create new services and activities for young people with fewer opportunities in the thematic area.

Background

We applied for this project to seize new opportunities to strengthen the capacities of partner organizations in youth work, sustainable development, environmental protection, and social entrepreneurship. Our aim was to create healthier, more supportive environments in local communities to motivate young people toward personal growth, inform them about EU youth programs, help them overcome challenges, promote active participation, and raise awareness of the value of non-formal learning and volunteering.By recognizing the real needs of young people and their communities, we supported the development of new working methods, the exchange of good practices among partners, and laid the groundwork for long-term cooperation and greater inclusion of youth with fewer opportunities. The project connected local and international organizations and initiatives, fostered the exchange of knowledge and innovative approaches, and encouraged the use of sustainable practices in youth work—ultimately contributing to youth empowerment, community development, and stronger organizational collaboration.
