We tried to transfer a wide range of knowledge for our students on the field of their profession. At first they got acquainted with the building and the function of the institution furthermore with the type of gastronomy connecting to the trade. After they could map their working area, the kitchen, they received instructions in hygienie and occupational safety. Afterwards the special activities were introduced. The development of the general and the special language was the primary aim.
Our school opened its gates in 1988 and it became a nationwide respected secondary school in Győr's public education. Nowadays there are vocational trainings in altogether 35 classes in both bilingual tourism and catering industry. The education is focusing on three professions: cook, waiter and confectioner. The ouststanding results on national and international competitions can prove the high level of vocational education. Amongst them the competition, "Gasztrorandevú" is the most important.
