Objectives

With the implementation of the KA131 project in 2023, the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music primarily aimed to achieve a high-quality realization of long-term student mobilities, short-term staff mobilities, and Blended Intensive Programme mobilities. As a nationally and internationally renowned institution of higher music education, the Academy attaches outstanding importance to supporting the individual development of its students, providing opportunities for international experience, and strengthening intercultural competences—both for incoming exchange students and for its own students. Within the framework of student mobility, participants benefit from highly personalized and intensive training, focused on their main subject and instrument, which substantially enhances their artistic and professional development. Institutional staff, both teaching staff and organizational units supporting education, play a key role in the implementation of mobility: staff who interact with international students, as well as colleagues involved in internationalization who maintain inter-institutional relationships.. The personal relationships developed among teachers, staff, and students foster the emergence of a culturally diverse, inclusive community that represents a consistently high level of professional excellence. In addition, exchange programs, with particular regard to BIP events, contribute to the development and updating of the curricula of various disciplines.
