Objectives

The primary objectives of the project were rooted in community development, educational growth, and the cultivation of intercultural understanding. Recognizing the needs of disadvantaged youth in the region, the Association sought to create a supportive and engaging environment where young people could develop essential skills, particularly in social communication, problem-solving, and resilience. Community Empowerment: The project aimed to bring young people together in a structured yet informal setting that emphasized collective growth and support. By involving participants in various community-driven activities, the Association sought to empower youth to play active roles within their local community, thereby strengthening the social fabric. Through volunteering, participants were encouraged to work side-by-side with community members, fostering a sense of responsibility and belonging while gaining valuable life skills. Educational Development and Skills Building: Educational growth was a central objective of the project, focusing on non-formal and experiential learning methods. Activities like Lego robotics, board game sessions, and digital competency training were designed to enhance participants' critical thinking, algorithmic skills, and cognitive abilities in a fun, interactive way. Emphasis was also placed on fostering a strong foundation in problem-solving, adaptability, and cooperative learning. These programs aimed to equip young people with skills that would be valuable both in personal growth and future educational or career pursuits. Cultural Exchange and Solidarity: Promoting intercultural understanding and solidarity was another critical goal of the project. By participating in international programs and exchanges, young people had the opportunity to engage with peers from other cultural backgrounds, broaden their perspectives, and build tolerance and acceptance. Activities in the project were designed to introduce participants to the customs and traditions of different countries, nurturing an appreciation for diversity and fostering connections that transcend national boundaries. Inclusion of Disadvantaged Youth: The project aimed to provide an inclusive space where disadvantaged youth, including those facing economic, social, or educational challenges, could actively participate and benefit. Ensuring equal access to these opportunities, the Association specifically targeted young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, integrating them into programs where they could build self-confidence, develop personal interests, and feel valued within the community. Personal Growth and Future Preparedness: One of the project’s core objectives was to prepare participants for future challenges by instilling confidence and resilience. Through activities that required teamwork, creativity, and self-reflection, young people were encouraged to explore their strengths and interests. The project also provided guidance on practical skills like job searching, resume writing, and digital literacy, which would be beneficial for participants as they transition into the workforce or pursue further education. By achieving these objectives, the project sought to create a sustainable, positive impact on participants, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to thrive in both their local community and the wider world.
