The main goal of our project was to support the personal and professional growth of young people and youth workers by equipping them with competences and experiences that are relevant, practical, and aligned with the principles of the Erasmus+ Programme. Through a combination of training courses and youth exchanges, the project aimed to create inclusive learning spaces where participants could build skills, reflect on their role in society, and explore their potential as changemakers. The project had four key objectives: -Understanding young people’s needs and involving them from the start We aimed to actively involve young people and youth workers in all phases of the project, from planning to implementation. By conducting need assessments and collaborative preparation with our partner organisations, we ensured that the project addressed the real interests, challenges, and learning expectations of the participants. -Fostering entrepreneurship and innovation Several activities specifically focused on entrepreneurship, both from a personal mindset and a business planning perspective. Our goal was to strengthen participants’ entrepreneurial competences, including resilience, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and planning skills, while also fostering innovation and creativity in their work and daily lives. -Encouraging youth to take positive action through creativity and culture We wanted to empower young people to use their creativity and cultural backgrounds as tools for expression, social impact, and community involvement. By integrating non-formal learning methods such as storytelling, mindful movement, media creation, and gamified sessions, participants were encouraged to become active in promoting well-being, inclusion, and civic engagement. -Promoting the objectives, principles, and values of the Erasmus+ Programme All project activities were designed to promote the core values of Erasmus+, including diversity, inclusion, solidarity, intercultural understanding, and active citizenship. The project placed a strong emphasis on creating inclusive spaces for participants with fewer opportunities, and all activities contributed to the implementation of the European Youth Work Agenda and the Youth Goals, especially in areas such as mental health, media literacy, participation, and youth empowerment. Through these objectives, our project contributed to building stronger youth communities and supported the recognition of youth work as a powerful driver of social innovation and inclusion.
