The overarching aim of our Erasmus+ accredited project was to contribute meaningfully to the personal and professional development of young people through well-structured, experience-based international mobilities. The project's central purpose was to respond to the challenges young people face in today’s rapidly changing world and to equip them with the competences, mindset, and tools needed to adapt, grow, and lead positive change in their communities and professions. This initiative stemmed from our belief that education should be learner-centered, experiential, and transformative—and that mobility projects can significantly impact participants' resilience, agency, and engagement. Objective 1: Supporting youth resilience through relevant topics and methods One of the main objectives was to focus on thematic areas where our organization has significant expertise, particularly in entrepreneurship, soft skills, leadership, and innovation. These themes were not chosen arbitrarily—they directly align with the needs of youth in our community and reflect the socio-economic uncertainties many of them face. We aimed to create learning spaces where participants could explore personal and professional growth while building the resilience to deal with uncertainty, instability, and change. The international setting of our projects provided a platform for intercultural learning, mutual support, and confidence-building, enabling young people to regain trust in themselves and society. We firmly believe that helping youth rebuild this trust is an essential step toward building a stronger, more cohesive European community. Objective 2: Promoting youth participation and co-creation Another core objective was to involve young people directly in the design and development of the activities, starting from a thorough analysis of their needs. We recognized that youth are not passive recipients of education—they are co-creators of knowledge and change. Our methodology included preparatory research, local consultations, and feedback loops that allowed us to shape the activities in response to their interests and ambitions. This approach empowered participants to express their ideas, experiment with new solutions, and develop the confidence to act on their goals. Many of our former participants became active contributors to this project cycle, acting as multipliers, peer educators, and even facilitators. This is a testament to our long-term strategy of sustaining youth engagement beyond individual activities. Objective 3: Fostering European values and cooperation beyond EU borders In addition to supporting personal and professional development, our project sought to promote the core values of the European Union—inclusion, participation, sustainability, digital transformation, and intercultural dialogue—both within and beyond EU borders. In particular, we emphasized cooperation with the Western Balkan region, where the EU accession process is ongoing and where fostering democratic values, youth empowerment, and regional dialogue is particularly critical. We believe that sharing European tools like Youthpass, promoting Erasmus+ visibility, and engaging in youth-driven campaigns during our activities contributed to strengthening a shared European identity and sense of belonging among diverse groups of participants. Each of the four mobilities we implemented had specific thematic objectives that reinforced our general goals: "The Journey of Entrepreneurship" focused on helping beginners understand what entrepreneurship means, develop basic entrepreneurial competences, and engage in creative group-based business development processes. "Sketch the Journey" empowered youth educators and trainers to use visual thinking as a method for improving communication, engagement, and learning outcomes, bridging formal and non-formal education methods. "Leadership Skills on the Spotlight" developed youth leaders' capacity to understand and practice leadership through simulations, situational awareness, group dynamics, conflict resolution, and facilitation. "Beyond Boundaries" equipped young freelancers, entrepreneurs, and digital nomads with soft skills, including stress and time management, business planning, team collaboration, and digital tools like AI—fostering adaptability and long-term strategic thinking. Through all these activities, we pursued our ultimate goal: to support the emergence of self-aware, capable, and motivated young individuals who can actively shape their lives and the communities they live in. We are proud that our project has not only responded to the real and current needs of youth, but also contributed to the broader objectives of the Erasmus+ programme by creating inclusive, participatory, and impactful learning experiences.
