Objectives

The main goal of TIA through mobility projects implemented under accreditation is to provide opportunities for young people and youth professionals to become active citizens, realize their ideas and be empowered to make a difference in their communities both locally and internationally. Participation and active citizenship are core values of our organization, and our aim is to increasingly promote youth as active shapers of their communities and society, empowering them to contribute to the creation of a world that most closely aligns with their vision. Through the implementation of our programs, we actively work to prepare young people for active participation in European society, to experience interculturality, and to develop their entrepreneurial and initiative skills. The implemented programs not only reflect but also effectively serve the key elements of our accreditation strategy – active citizenship, competence development, and the encouragement of entrepreneurial and community-organizing spirit. The aim of the accreditation project was to develop the competencies of young people and youth workers to strengthen their active civic participation, to enable them to be community shapers, and to equip them with tools they can successfully apply in civic engagement and commitment. Another important goal of our project was to motivate and encourage young people, professionals, and the participating partner organizations to take on further active roles in their voluntary work, and to share and pass on their knowledge and experiences with their peers, thereby contributing to the strengthening and increased activity of organizations not only nationally but also internationally. Our specific objectives were as follows: - Development of participants’ competencies and abilities; learning about non-formal educational methods - Enhancement of young people's active citizenship skills - Introduction of creative and innovative tools and methods, and sharing of best practices - Development of community life and entrepreneurial skills - Development of the tools and professionals of participating organizations, and improvement of the quality of youth work - Improving the standard of youth work, facilitating the emergence of new, high-quality projects within the Erasmus+ Youth Program The programs of 2023–2024 are well aligned with TIA’s long-term goals and the priorities and objectives of the Erasmus+ Program. The active involvement of young people, experiential learning, and cultural sensitization have proven to be effective tools in fostering social inclusion and community responsibility. With the programs implemented, our goal was also to strengthen existing partnerships, establish new ones and reinforce local-level activities. We believe that through youth work, we can contribute to building a more inclusive, active, value-based Europe, where young people can truly be the driving force for change. Therefore, we are actively working toward the development of high-quality youth work.
