The project had the following objectives: - Gave 24 participants the opportunity to use dance as a tool for education, communication and empowerment. - Increased participants' awareness of their personal and cultural identity; -developed the skills needed to recognise prejudice and discrimination in all its forms; -developed young people's communication skills, creativity, empathy and critical thinking; - supported participants in developing measures to fight against discrimination. Our project aimed to bring participants together from 4 countries and ensured that they work together to understand and learn to overcome prejudices and stereotypes in their communities. In addition, priority was given to meeting participants' need to engage in activities that helped them to understand and accept the differences between people that can be the causes of exclusion. They could experience the added value of multiculturalism for a group. Participants developed their skills and knowledge of dance. We created a safe learning environment in which everyone had a unique opportunity to share ideas and learn from the experiences of others to see the best way to combat exclusion.
