In frame of the project, we implemented a double youth exchange, the topic of which was environmental protection and environmental sustainability. Our aim was for the participating young people to acquire knowledge and skills that help them take on greater responsibility in their communities in terms of environmental protection and environmental sustainability. We wanted to encourage young people to change their way of thinking, which helps them play the role of a kind of role model in their local community and among their contemporaries. During the exchanges, we equipped them with knowledge that helps them protect their environment, live their everyday lives with environmental sustainability in mind, and pass this knowledge on to members of the younger generation. With the project, we wanted to ensure that the young people participating in the exchanges have a positive impact on their environment and community, and thereby initiate a change in attitude that contributes to the development of a livable, clean and healthy living environment. We wanted to contribute to the development of youth work by encouraging the social activity of young people.
