The aim of the project is to establish an exchange relationship around democratic values and human rights education. What are human rights? What does an ideal society look like? How do we use nonviolent communication? The main idea is for participants to share their views on democracy and human rights and check whether there is a connection between human rights and our rights in a democratic country. The title of the project is: "Activate democracy", which is also a statement to the project participants and partners, that the basis of democracy is active participation, and we must do so in order to be able to activate it. The main goal is for them to understand and share their knowledge about the democratic processes of their own country and to express their needs, how they would like to see democracy in their lives. Our goal in this exchange is to teach and support participants to learn about Universal Human Rights and understand their own needs and how they can impact/influence their society.
