Objectives

The primary aim of the project was to raise awareness about youth unemployment from a critical and underrepresented perspective. Unlike conventional approaches that focus mainly on education and skills development, this project sought to highlight the systemic challenges young people face when entering the job market—such as mistreatment, discrimination, black labour, exploitation, burnout, and abuse. The key objectives of the project were: To shed light on the often-overlooked realities of young adults' working conditions. To empower young people to recognize and confront workplace injustices. To build a foundation for a larger-scale, international initiative tackling youth exploitation in the labor market. To unify young adults who share similar experiences and give them a platform to collaborate and take action. To engage participants in creative, research-based, and awareness-oriented activities (online campaign, exhibition, workshop). To reach a broader audience of at least 100 young people through outreach and engagement efforts such as surveys and brainstorming sessions. To include participants with fewer opportunities and ensure diverse representation in both the content and impact of the project. In the long run, the project aims to evolve into a more structured advocacy effort that influences decision-makers and contributes to reducing instances of unfair labor practices affecting youth.
