The aim of the project was to create methodological recommendations, a collection of good practices, and a training development model that support civil society organizations in the conscious use of learning outcomes. Making learning outcomes visible in training courses aimed at social participation and the development of civic competences, and recognizing learning, strengthens social acceptance and labour market relevance. The project produced two methodological recommendations (online handbooks) for civil society training organizations providing non-formal learning. These guides present step by step how to introduce learning outcomes, from training design through implementation and evaluation to certification. A further objective was to develop the skills of professionals through awareness-raising and development processes and to transfer training development experience gained in practice. By strengthening transnational cooperation, we created the opportunity in both partner countries for conscious quality improvement in non-formal learning, from the planning phase to completion. Taking into account the dimensions of the two countries, we developed a methodological recommendation with a European approach.
The aim of the project was to raise awareness of learning outcomes achieved in non-formal education, make them visible and improve their quality. Civil society organizations (CSOs) offer a large number of non-formal learning opportunities, but the application and certification of learning outcomes are often incidental. The project sought to address this gap with a structured, practice-oriented development process. The organizations participating in the project based the development of their civil society training programs (civic competence development, democracy education, personal and social competence strengthening, volunteer motivation training, etc.) on learning outcomes, thus placing the participants in the learning process in the focus. This increases motivation for lifelong learning and conscious participation in learning process, and the impact of non-formal training strengthens social activity. The organizations involved in the project have reviewed the entire learning process, from planning through implementation and evaluation to certification, ensuring that in the future, they will use learning outcomes when developing non-formal training courses.
