As discussed in the 2021 Key Action, our goal at ATU St Angela's, formerly known as St Angela's College Sligo; is to further develop existing partnership networks alongside extending out partnership networks to other Universities across Europe. In the main our goal was to increase Erasmus+ student participation, with an aim of making Erasmus+ a fundamental element of our nursing and education/home economics programmes. On this journey, The School of Nursing, Health Sciences and Disability Studies, have piloted a new International Project. As this journey of Erasmus+ has evolved since 2021, Erasmus+ at St Angela's initially was a conversation of luxury and the select few. Today at ATU St Angela's, Erasmus+ is vastly becoming an expectation of all undergraduate nursing students, including a fundamental part of the Batchelor of Science in Food Technology experimental learning phase.
