To develop academic, professional and socio-cultural competencies of our students and staff by creating opportunities for international cooperation through existing and new Erasmus partnerships. To provide for the exchange of experiences and knowledge between the institutions involved and expand the scope of mutual collaboration in different areas, taking into account the development of global competencies in our students and the development and improvement of skills and competencies in our professional and academic staff. Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin (Trinity) is the highest ranked university in Ireland. Trinity is ranked 75th in the world (QS World University Rankings 2025), 139th in The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025 and 31st Most International University in the World, Times Higher Education World University Ranking, 2024. By implementing this KA131 student and staff mobility project, Trinity aimed to continue to build on its success in European and International engagement. Implementing this project to support opportunities for students and staff to undertake a learning and/or professional experience in another country is of great relevance to the global engagement strategy of the university. Both Trinity College's central university Strategy (2020 - 2025) and the third Global Relations Strategy (GRS3) which was launched in 2019 provided strong commitments to global mobility. GRS3 (which can be consulted on the institutional website) is centered on three main aims: ‘i. further diversification and growth in the student body, ii. expanding strategic partnerships with targeted universities around the world, and iii. providing more opportunities for our students to spend time studying overseas’.
