Objectives

Dublin City University (DCU) recognises the importance of providing students and staff with meaningful international opportunities through high-quality mobility activities. By supporting students to undertake learning experiences abroad, and enabling academic and professional staff to gain international professional experience during 2023–2028, DCU is advancing its strategy Transformation for an Unscripted Future. Our mission is clear: to transform lives and societies. Our vision is to be a leading, innovative European university, distinguished both by the quality of the DCU experience and by the global impact of our teaching and research. To achieve this vision, DCU has identified five strategic pillars. This mobility project, and the Erasmus+ Programme more broadly, contribute directly to each of them: Pioneer a Transformative Student Experience; Value and Develop our Staff and Community; Advance our Research Reputation and Impact; Enhance Local and International Engagement; Optimise Organisational Resilience and Readiness.
