The project was designed with several key objectives aligned with Erasmus+ priorities: 1. A more accessible school of informal creative and experimental adult education that is a safe space for informal learning, exploration and experimentation, where students can ask the questions they find relevant instead of questions they are being told to ask and that teaches skills to a diverse and inclusive group from all over the world. School growth as a transnational learning centre with innovative learning modules and a unique approach to tailored learning experiences, to achieve the best creative education there is. 3. Curriculum growth from two courses per year to five courses, resulting in a larger group of students developing their skills. Different trimesters ask for different approaches (for example: adapted to the light in the summer, the darkness in the winter, cold, wind, and the seasons). 5. Creativity and Nature are at the core of LungA values and by developing a new curriculum entirely focused on ‘LAND’, we are working to support priorities on environment and climate action. 6. Creation of an open access Digital Resources Library to collect digital material developed and generated within activities of the school.

It was clear that these beneficiaries would be best served by developing a focus on creativity and nature, connecting local knowledge to an awareness of the urgency for eco-conscious, community-based schooling, and incorporating appropriate technology into curriculum delivery. The identified needs were: Educational: need for courses of a wide diversity, high quality, and innovative character all with excellent educators. Wide access: need to ensure an ongoing large transnational student group, with an emphasis on minorities as well as local newcomers. Technological: with the core of LungA laying face-to-face education and physical learning experiences, access to technological and online tools is even more important. Environmental: need for teaching about our planet and immediate surroundings, to give students the skills to deal with the future. Holistic: need for skills that giv
