The project aimed to achieve multiple objectives; to train teachers on inclusive teaching with a structured course in Spain, also focusing on the use of digital tools for educational purposes. Another objective was to offer students both targeted internship activities in the field of social media management with an inclusive and sustainable slant, and professionalisation activities in English and Spanish to enhance their language skills.
The school is located in a delicate socio-economic context, in which young people, feeling abandoned by their families and institutions, can succumb to pressure from local mafias. To cope with this reality, the school has been committed for years to the development of national and European projects, including ‘EUnclusion’, to convey to the young people the values that the EU promotes and to motivate them in their personal and professional development.
