Objectives

The project aimed to strengthen the competences of Italia che Cambia’s staff in transformative learning methodologies and non-formal education, with a focus on sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through the mobility experience in Austria with ViA, we acquired innovative educational tools, improved participatory processes, fostered active citizenship, and promoted social inclusion, empowering local communities and changemakers across different regions.

Background

Italia che Cambia is a social promotion association that fosters sustainability, active citizenship, and social innovation through non-formal education and communication. The Alter Eco project aimed to strengthen our staff’s skills in transformative learning and sustainable development, by participating in a mobility experience hosted by ViA in Austria. This experience enriched our educational practices and reinforced our commitment to promoting the SDGs in local communities.
