Poliarte's main goal has been to enable incoming and outgoing participants, whether students, teachers or staff, to gain an international perspective on the design topics covered at its Italian headquarters, developing design skills that go beyond national borders – as well as the procedures implemented by international colleagues. This is not merely a design goal, but rather an opportunity to learn about teaching and other methodologies, approaches and international cultures – through the projects implemented – broadening the human vision and sense of belonging to a European community made up of different entities that dialogue with each other and can together make the educational effort even more effective. Poliarte has set itself the same goal in its incoming activities: to give international students, teachers and staff the opportunity to learn about the approaches and procedures implemented by the Academy, with the aim of not only expanding their technical knowledge, but above all discovering cultures different from those in which they live on a daily basis.
