Objectives

The Tartini Conservatory (ConTs) has set as its primary objective, within the framework of the project, the optimization of EU resources with the aim of promoting the mobility of students, teachers, and administrative staff. This goal has been fully achieved, as evidenced by the high rate of fund utilization by the institution, which enabled 32 outgoing mobilities to various countries in the Eurozone, as well as welcoming 21 students and faculty members from partner academies, for a total of 53 mobilities. The participants' high level of satisfaction reflects the creation of a strong exchange network, which has certainly enhanced collaboration with partner academies and conservatories. Testimonials from students, faculty, and staff confirm the interest in internationalization, focused on acquiring new knowledge and improving linguistic, teaching, and cultural skills. The project, which is part of the Conservatory’s international strategy, is rooted in a long-standing experience, particularly in the Erasmus mobility program, which has seen a continuous increase in exchanges since 2002. Thanks to this project, both students and teachers had the opportunity to travel and study in different European cultural contexts, enriching their academic journey with new teaching knowledge and developing essential soft skills for the continuation of their studies. ConTs has always pursued clear objectives: enhancing its own excellence, fostering high-quality learning, and promoting outstanding results through innovation and an increasingly European dimension. Another key goal is to improve the attractiveness and accessibility of learning opportunities offered by the institution, highlighting the skills and expertise that characterize the Conservatory, in order to promote mutually beneficial and lasting collaborations. Particular attention is given to Central Europe, considering the specific location and historical background of the city of Trieste. The international project also aims to foster cultural syncretism among participants, encouraging the integration of diverse cultures, knowledge, and skills. This approach creates fertile ground for the development of new ideas, activities, and collaborations, always grounded in mutual respect and appreciation for diversity. Internationalization also allows the Conservatory to raise its profile, and by extension, the city of Trieste, stimulating the mobility of students and faculty to other academies. The institution is satisfied with the results achieved, and current data suggests that this positive trend will continue in future projects.
