The project aims to expand student and staff participation in the Erasmus programme by making mobility more inclusive and efficient through enhanced digitalization and strengthened linguistic and administrative support. It promotes new forms of mobility, such as Blended Intensive Programmes, to meet the needs of an increasingly international academic community. It also seeks to improve the quality and accessibility of the Erasmus experience through strategic resource management, enhanced welcome services and the organisation of high-profile international events. In 2023, the University of Trieste continued to invest in creating increasingly efficient and inclusive administrative conditions, with the aim of further expanding student and staff participation in the Erasmus Program. We strengthened the digitalization of processes, enhanced linguistic and administrative support, and promoted new forms of mobility, such as Blended Intensive Programmes, to meet the needs of an ever more international academic community. The project enabled a growing number of students and staff to benefit from educational experiences abroad, fostering the development of transversal skills, personal growth, and openness to new cultures. The increase in traineeship and staff training mobilities demonstrates the University’s commitment to maximizing all opportunities offered by the program, for both students and teaching/administrative staff. The University of Trieste considers international mobility a key tool for academic, professional, and personal development. The focus is on both outgoing and incoming students, whose presence contributes to a more open and multicultural university environment, offering opportunities for exchange and enrichment even for those who do not directly participate in mobility programs. Thanks to careful resource management and the strategic use of OS funds, the University has been able to support innovative activities, strengthen welcome services, and promote high-profile international events, making the Erasmus experience increasingly accessible, inclusive, and high-quality for the entire university community.
