The Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (SSSA) is a research university open to the internationalisation of education and research. From the very first years of attendance, our students are strongly encouraged to undertake study and/or internship activities abroad. At the same time, the mobility of teaching and administrative staff is encouraged in order to draw inspiration from international best practices. As of 2020, the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and the Scuola Normale Superiore are involved in the EELISA (European Engineering Learning Innovation and Science Alliance), a European university alliance This new dimension has given a further impetus to the implementation of the core principles of the new ECHE 2021 2027, concerning inclusiveness, digitisation and green policies. The SSSA therefore intends to meet the growing demand for mobility on the part of students, seeking to initiate mobility for study purposes with the established partners of the European Alliance and to respond to the enormous interest in internship mobility to EU and non-EU countries, without sacrificing the focus on incoming reception and outgoing assistance. Given the increasing mobility flows and the need to create ever greater synergies between the various Erasmus + actions KA131; KA171, KA2 European Alliances, the School is striving to create increasingly standardised procedures and a timetable for the release of calls for proposals that is as defined as possible, with several deadlines throughout the year, in order to allow the student, academic and administrative components to seize the most interesting opportunities for their training.
