Objectives

By implementing the Erasmus university mobility project, our primary goal was to foster internationalization within higher education and provide students with transformative learning experiences. We aimed to create opportunities for academic, cultural, and personal growth by enabling students to study or train abroad in a diverse and inclusive environment. One of the main objectives was to enhance the quality of education through international cooperation. By participating in mobility programs, students could access different teaching methods, academic resources, and institutional practices, enriching their learning paths and broadening their academic horizons. We also sought to promote intercultural understanding and tolerance. Living and studying in a foreign country allows students to immerse themselves in new cultures, languages, and social contexts. This experience helps develop key soft skills such as adaptability, empathy, and communication, which are essential in today’s globalized world. Another important goal was to increase employability and career readiness. Erasmus mobility equips students with international experience, language skills, and a global mindset, making them more competitive in the labor market. Employers increasingly value candidates who demonstrate initiative, independence, and the ability to work in multicultural teams. The project also aimed to strengthen European identity and solidarity. By encouraging mobility across borders, Erasmus fosters a sense of belonging to a shared European community. It supports the values of cooperation, mutual respect, and active citizenship, contributing to the development of a more united and inclusive Europe. In addition, we wanted to support equal access to mobility opportunities. Through financial support and inclusive policies, the project strives to ensure that students from all backgrounds—including those with fewer opportunities—can benefit from international experiences. Finally, the Erasmus project contributes to the modernization and internationalization of universities. It encourages institutions to innovate, collaborate, and align with European standards, improving the overall quality and competitiveness of higher education.
