Objectives

The activities and achievements of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria are the result of a strong commitment to internationalization, improving the quality of mobility, promoting educational innovation, and encouraging the cultural, economic, and social growth of the entire community. Several calls for study and internship mobility have been published, and BIP programs have been highly successful: short-term mobility has encouraged students to undertake new experiences outside their comfort zone. The Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria supports professional training, basic and technological research, and their dissemination to promote the cultural, economic, and social development of the entire community. The Erasmus+ programs have aimed to increase and improve the quality of ethical, social, and cultural exchanges, bilateral agreements, and student mobility. This has also provided an opportunity to present the educational programs offered by our university to other partner organizations. Faculty mobility has played an important role in the discovery of new teaching methods. It was also important to encourage exchanges for the mobility of technical and administrative staff, as it helps enhance knowledge through interaction with other contexts and advance new development prospects. A significant number of participants participated in staff weeks: they socialized with staff from other countries, learned new work techniques, and updated their personal and professional knowledge.
