For the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (UNICAS), the Erasmus+ KA131 project represents the main initiative supporting the internationalization of the University. Its primary aim is to raise awareness among UNICAS students and staff of the importance of undertaking a short- or long-term experience in a European country as a fundamental tool for cultural growth, while encouraging and supporting its realization. Through the Erasmus+ programme, UNICAS seeks to ensure that all students—including those with fewer opportunities and/or with specific needs—have the chance not only to engage with different teaching models but also to experience, even if for a limited period, what it truly means to be a European citizen. Another objective of the project is to offer both students and staff the opportunity to improve their language, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, thereby strengthening their soft skills in international contexts.
