The Erasmus+ KA131 project was designed with the objective of enhancing and strengthening the quality of international mobility for both students and academic as well as administrative staff. From the very beginning, our intention was to offer participants a comprehensive learning experience, one that could have a meaningful impact not only on their academic and professional paths but also on their personal development, the growth of transversal skills, and intercultural openness. For students, the project aimed to increase opportunities to study abroad, enabling them to experience different academic and social environments, improve their language skills, and develop a critical and flexible mindset when facing new challenges. Mobility was also conceived as an opportunity to gain independence, reinforce adaptability, and build an international perspective on their studies, fully aligned with European higher education priorities. For teaching and administrative staff, the main goal was to promote the exchange of best practices, methodological innovation, and professional growth through teaching and training experiences at partner institutions. These activities fostered the creation of collaborative networks, the updating of skills, and the dissemination of more effective organizational models, thus contributing to improving the internal processes of our university. Another key objective of the project was to strengthen the international cooperation of our institution by consolidating existing partnerships and developing new ones, with the aim of expanding opportunities for mobility and scientific collaboration. The project also sought to spread, both within the academic community and across the local territory, a culture of internationalization and to promote the value of Erasmus+ experiences as tools for growth and inclusion. Finally, the project intended to disseminate best practices with particular focus on inclusion, sustainability, and digital transition, in line with the cross-cutting priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme. Through awareness-raising and dissemination activities, we aimed to make the Erasmus+ experience increasingly accessible and responsive to the needs of students and staff, so that internationalization becomes a shared and deeply rooted value in university life.
