The National HEI Consortium was established in 2014 with the goal of expanding opportunities and enhancing the socio-economic well-being of young people. Internships serve as a key factor in helping youth transition smoothly into the workforce, reducing emigration driven by the growing lack of skilled labor in the country. The Consortium’s key goals include 1. Strengthening cooperation between educational institutions, private organizations, social partners, and businesses, both nationally and internationally, through mobility programs, ensuring high-standard education. A collaborative network has been formed to create innovative training programs and boost graduates' employability. 2. Offering internship opportunities to help participants build skills for new and evolving professions. 3. Supporting the validation of learning achievements and certifications. 4. Raising awareness about the value and benefits of student mobility programs. 5. Guaranteeing that competencies gained during international mobility experiences are formally recognized.
