The Erasmus+ mobility program has effectively built the groundwork for improving higher education mobility and equipping a broader group of participants with more applicable skills. New opportunities in higher education are being implemented based on recent policy trends, focusing on digitalization, inclusion, interconnectedness, and sustainability. We conducted this project to facilitate learning and professional opportunities for University of Salento students and staff in foreign countries, both within and outside the EU. We have a firm conviction that studying abroad enhances students' job opportunities after completing their studies. This opportunity enhances students' language and soft skills, fosters open-mindedness and entrepreneurship, and broadens their network. These opportunities are particularly relevant in the aftermath of the pandemic. This project seeks to offer students the chance to study abroad in countries beyond the EU. It supports our University's strategic objective of boosting internationalization. The project is integrated to the initiatives of Erasmus+ KA171 through Departmental Agreements.
