All activities and initiatives carried out during the reporting period were strategically conceived and implemented with the following objectives: to progressively increase the engagement of students and staff, supported by the gradual overcoming of the pandemic emergency; to ensure full compliance with the pricniples of the Erasmus Charter, in particular through the progressive implementation of the European Student Card Initiative. The project’s priorities were consolidated as key strengths. First, international mobility was raffirmed as a distinctive added value in participants’ cultural, academic, and personal development pathways. Second, significant progress was made in the field of digitalization, aimed at streamlining the exchange of documentation, improving efficiency, and reducing environmental impact through the minimized use of paper resources. Finally, a strong commitment was placed on inclusiveness, by promoting access for individuals with fewer opportunities and encouraging the active citizenship of all participants. In the course of 2023, the University decisively encouraged internationalization, consolidating it as a structural priority for the institution and the academic community as a whole. Specific measures were initiated to broaden mobility opportunities for third-cycle students, particularly PhD candidates, while at the same time reinforcing the involvement of teaching staff to expand and strengthen cooperative relations with European partner institutions. All actions contributed jointly to the widespread expansion and dissemination of the project, which began to generate measurable outcomes in 2023, most notably a marked increase in the number of participants. These achievements were underpinned by the active contribution of academic staff, whose cooperation was crucial in advancing collaborative research, enriching study programmes, and expanding academic opportunities available to students. Overall, the University aimed to foster growth in student and graduate participation without distinction, ensuring equitable access and recognition of the value of mobility experiences. This process was supported by the strong commitment of teaching staff, who actively promoted equality, inclusion and the enhancement of academic quality.
