HEALTH AND WELLNESS POINT 3 - Agenda 2030 We aimed to educate people who were aware of the risk of living digitally dependent and influenced by social media, time spent online, and the resulting loss of concentration. QUALITY EDUCATION ITEM 4 - Agenda 2030 It has been an innovative project having the purpose of creating a critical and conscious spirit in young people. In the era of DIGITAL DISTRACTIONS, we worked to have future workers MORE ABLE AND FREE FROM DIGITAL DISTRACTIONS that can affect their concentration. This project will also benefit companies with employees who will be more focused in their work .The project explored the opportunities of the Web, show interesting sites and constructive interactions, but it also motivated students to cultivate their interests outside the Web: music, sports, friends, art, because Internet cannot replace real life. The project also involved students' parents. The students involved developed critical thinking through an in-depth study of information, disinformation and misinformation that helped them analyze news from a deeper, more responsible and expert. They analyzed these issues in a multidisciplinary way. IMPROVE SCHOOL CONCENTRATION Aware of their addiction
We wanted to spread a digital culture in both native and foreign languages with a renewed awareness about the use and management of digital platforms in order to train people free from digital distractions and increase concentration in personal and work life.“Hyperconnection and the influence of social media on young people” is the title of an eTwinning project awarded with the ETWINNING QUALITY LABEL created within the Istituto Omnicomprensivo “Salvatorelli-Moneta” of Marsciano, to respond to the phenomenon of digital hyperconnection and social media addiction, a source of numerous psychoaffective disorders, problems encountered both in school and relational sphere. Given the positive response from the parents component which, concerned about the phenomenon, strongly asked the school for targeted educational interventions and from the territory we decided to apply for an Erasmus+ project having the main content. The phenomenon of hyperconnection, so common to all European students, has a great influence on their lives, to the point of generating feelings of frustration, anxiety and depression. We wanted to rise the critical spirit and make students become free people and aware of the time and energy they spend online.
