The 2023 KA151 project included an activity plan with 5 professional development activities, 5 youth exchanges, 5 online preparatory visits (linked to the exchanges). The activity plan aimed to ensure the effective achievement of the objectives set in the accreditation: • O1-YOUTH WORK EMPOWERMENT: sharing good practices, developing new working methods, pedagogical approaches and fostering greater recognition of youth work-YW at EU level. The working tools have been constantly adapted to the needs of the beneficiaries, in order to respond to their learning needs and styles. The activities were conceived as an interactive space for participants to test, evaluate and update the educational tools, based on the specificities of their realities, and then to adapt or re-propose them in the different contexts • O2-INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE AND NETWORKING: expanding the networking with international and local organizations, strengthening the quality of the actions implemented, promoting the networking and the exchange of good practices. This, with the aim to respond the needs highlighted in the post-pandemic phase: 1. return to local territories, strengthening existing synergies and creating new ones; 2. create new collaborations with EU associations; 3. expand the group of beneficiaries reached, also involving those who normally cannot access to the program • O3-YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND ACTIVE PARTICIPATION: providing young people with spaces for expression, sharing, socialization and learning, where they could have acquired knowledge, develop skills and discuss topics of everyday life. Facilitate a real empowerment of participants, with a special focus on young people coming from fewer opportunities backgrounds, and who often do not have access to mobility activities • O4-AWARENESS RAISING ON SOCIALLY RELEVANT TOPICS: contrasting racism and discrimination (sexism, racism or ableism), promoting solidarity and social cohesion. All the activities implemented included an extensive discussion of the topics and awareness-raising on inclusion, human rights, participation and environment. Thanks to the careful monitoring of the activities and of the involved participants, conducted through the Beneficiary Module, residual availability of resources emerged. After an internal assessment and an accurate cost forecast for the activities still to be carried out, the consortium and the coordinating association seized the opportunity to propose the expansion of the project activities. Two requests were forwarded to the Agency and approved on 08/11/2024 and 06/02/2025. Consequently, the updated plan of the implemented activities is the following: • 7 Professional Development Activities • 6 Youth Exchanges • 6 Preparatory Visits The project allowed the implementation of four macro-actions, a single training, an international workshop and a job shadowing, with the following specific objectives, connected to the macro-objectives indicated above: • TEENS 4 FUTURE Awareness Raising Tools on Environment, Mobilisation, Inclusion and Sustainability: develop knowledge/skills for working with teenagers, in particular in youth exchanges, creating replicable activities at local, national and EU level • SPECTRUM Youth Work Tools to Explore Gender Identities: develop tools and methodologies of non-formal education - NFE related to body awareness and gender issues, in order to raise awareness among young people • OASIS Peace-building and Conflict Management through Non Formal Education: develop tools and skills, through NFE and theatre techniques, to strengthen the construction of peace pathways and promote conflict management • SUNRISE Non formal education to raise awareness on sustainability and active participation: develop tools and working methods to promote sustainability among young people through NFE techniques, strengthening participants’ skills, sharing new approaches and promoting holistic approach to sustainability • PIRATEs Pedagogic approach, Intercultural learning, and Raising Awareness Tools in Europe: develop tools and working methodologies for facilitators and trainers, useful to promote active participation of young people • GOOD STAFF – European Workshop to foster the development of knowledge and the sharing of good practice: foster the development of transversal skills, knowledge, tools and methodologies related to YW, boosting the sharing of good practices between organizations active at EU level • Job Shadowing – Exchange of practices and peer learning: foster the exchange of good practices between civil society organizations engaged in international volunteering and youth mobility.
