The objectives of the mobility programs implemented as part of the accreditation process were consistent with those stated during the application process, and specifically aimed to: Enhance Erasmus+ training mobility projects to expand the range of opportunities for young people, fostering the development of social, civic, intercultural, and critical thinking skills. We wanted to help bridge the perceived gap between young people, institutions, and public life. The proposed activities allowed participants to experience processes of active participation and develop interest in relevant local and translocal issues. Reach and include young people from geographically isolated areas or those with limited opportunities, particularly those living in the rural and mountainous provinces of Piedmont and in the community of Elba Island (Rio Marina), where Vedogiovane has a branch office. These young people often have limited access to opportunities for intercultural exchange and non-formal educational experiences. The project also removed barriers to mobility for other young people at risk of exclusion, such as those with disabilities, financial difficulties, or experiencing educational poverty. Providing concrete experiences of non-formal education to young people enrolled in educational support programs, vocational training, or completely outside of school. These experiences allowed them to recognize and strengthen their skills, contributing to personal growth and participation in their communities. At the same time, training youth workers was crucial, enabling them to acquire tools and methodologies to support young people in their awareness and skills development. Actively involving young people in the planning and implementation of activities, building on their interests and abilities. This approach fostered the development of transversal skills such as planning, goal setting, adapting to results, and decision-making autonomy—essential skills also for employment. This objective involved both the young people, as direct beneficiaries, and the youth workers who participated in the training mobility. Promote greater awareness and engagement on environmental and sustainability issues in the Verbano and Elba areas, areas with great potential but still lacking awareness of the topic, even among young people. The project sought to foster the development of sustainable local initiatives and encourage young people to recognize the concrete relevance of sustainability in their daily lives. This project also focused on strengthening the skills of youth workers to support innovative projects related to sustainability and the involvement of local communities.
