Objectives

The primary goal of the project was to have more ecologically and civically active young people, both in terms of their own skills, knowledge, and competencies and the capacity of the associations and agencies involved to carry out actions in this direction. The young participants learned some specific skills on the chosen topics, others of an instrumental nature, and others of a cross-cutting nature. Starting from the latter, the young people strengthened: - public speaking skills, taking into account that they were speaking not only in front of peers but also to the municipal administration and citizens; - knowledge of cultures more or less different from their own; - confrontation with peers and the expression of their own opinion; - teamwork; - the making of presentations. Instrumental learning outcomes were: - the making of reports and the ability to present them; - increased knowledge of the Erasmus Plus program and other opportunities offered by Europe; - basic business planning skills; - basic European project writing skills. Specific learning outcomes on the chosen topics were: - knowledge of ecological practices in daily life; - the ability to analyze public environmental policies; - the ability to raise awareness of ecological issues; - awareness of one's duty to engage with actions in defense of the environment; - the communication of respect for the environment and animals; - the ability to carry out environmental education actions through play; - the ability to carry out artistic workshops of reuse and recycling with waste materials; - the ability to carry out inclusive actions through nature and sports.
