In order to help the center's employees, specialists, volunteers and deaf people in the immediate vicinity to expand their knowledge in the field of emotional intelligence of the deaf, the main 3 goals are set:"Emotional Intelligence Development Seminar" for the deaf, their families and close persons, including specialists, sign interpreters;"Pedagogy of Emotional Intelligence" these are courses for the deaf and the professionals who work with them;"Emotional Intelligence Workshop" for the Deaf.
The public institution "Center for Psychosocial and Labor Integration" was created as a continuous activity of the "Equal" program (www.deaf.lt),i.e. to provide psychosocial services to the members of the exclusion group and their environment in order to facilitate their integration into social life. The project develops trainings on the importance of emotional intelligence of the deaf in order to improve their social assistance; developing skills for persons working with deaf people and family.
