In this project, our organization hopes to learn from the good experience of a partner with many years of experience and to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge that will help employees to respond more effectively to the needs of service recipients, draw up assistance and training plans, and ensure the quality of these services by choosing appropriate assistance and training methods and methods. We also hope that the discovered new working principles will help motivate and empower families to use the services provided and be active members of society. We will seek to strengthen cooperation between PPI specialists, service recipients, and other organizations in order to achieve family and child well-being.
PPI is constantly looking for new methods, tools and ideas that help to improve the quality and accessibility of the services provided to foster, adoptive parents, on-call guardians, community children's care home specialists, etc. In Lithuania, too little attention is paid to the development and implementation of effective, reasonable methodologies and programs, especially when working with national minorities and immigrants. With the significant increase in the number of immigrants and refugees last year, it is a great need to gain know-how from experienced partners in the field and develop guidelines for assessing the needs of your service recipients, creating a plan, learning about innovative methods and techniques of training, social and other skills development, motivating and empowering service recipients when working with ethnic minorities and migrants. Other field for improvement is cooperation with family support specialists, communities, educational and other institutions.
