The main objective of this project is to learn about and adopt the experiences and innovations of sister institutions in other countries. As this project involved staff from all departments of the Firefighters' School, the interest was not only in the training block, but also in the administrative work and infrastructure management.
The Firefighters' Rescue School is the only institution in Lithuania that trains firefighters, general assistance specialists, raises the qualification of the State Fire Rescue Service staff, provides training in crisis management and civil protection, and organises and carries out a wide range of educational activities. As our staff in Lithuania have no experience to draw from, this mobility project opens up opportunities to meet organisations from other countries.
