Based on national and institutional strategic documents, Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija has identified the main objectives pursued during the implementation of the project: A. General: 1) increase the institution’s capacity to operate at EU and international level; 2) strengthen the internationality of study programmes; 3) support and promote mobility activities. B. Students 4) enhance initiative; 5) improve foreign language skills and digital competence; 6) increase understanding of the other cultures; 7) encourage positive connections with people from different backgrounds; 8) increase motivation to continue their education after a mobility period abroad. C. Academic and administrative staff: 9) improve skills related to the professional profile; 10) improve understanding of education, training and youth work practice policies and systems in different countries; 11) improve understanding of the interrelationships between formal education and the labour market; 12) improve understanding of and response to social, ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversity.
