The student and staff participation in the Erasmus + mobility programme is considered to be of utmost importance for improving the internationalization of studies at Kauno kolegija and is instrumental to reach the foreseen indicators of the KK strategic development. Kauno kolegija strives to enhance the internationalization and quality of studies and exploit the opportunities for mobility offered by international academic exchange programmes. Main aim of the project was to offer as many high quality mobility opportunities as possible both for students and staff of our institution. Mobility is one of key elements of successful internationalization of the institution and it is very important for participants on a personal level as well. We were aiming to achieve balanced participation in mobility activities in the respect of represented study fields however still the activity level in some study fields is much lower than we would prefer. We actively encourage the staff to deepen their professional competencies and share that knowledge with students and staff from partner institutions. Doing it in the international environment was one of the project's goals.
