As most of the project mobilities were implemented in the former VTDK college which merged with Vilniaus kolegija in July 2024, project funding was a great help to implement both institutions' international strategies, which aimed to expand opportunities for students to gain professional experience in international settings, to promote “internationalization at home” by inviting foreign lecturers, to exchange best practices - both didactic and otherwise - integrating the most relevant ones into study programmes. Additional goals included increasing student and researcher mobility, organizing international events, implementing strategic partnership projects, creating a welcoming environment for international students, and enhancing the institution’s global visibility. This student and staff mobility projects made a significant contribution to achieving these objectives. It provided students with valuable study and internship experiences abroad and facilitated staff exchanges that strengthened international collaboration, enabled knowledge sharing, and sparked new joint initiatives.
