In accordance with long-term strategy for development of Ukrainian culture, which envisions openness to modern world processes, effective cooperation between different cultures, mobility of creative people and ideas, as well as the mobility of cultural workers and youth, Ukrainian HEI is expanding ties with partners in EUcountries by prioritizing historically & culturally related countries as key partners; therefore cooperation with LMTA including exchanges of lecturers and staff training visits is of great importance. Cooperation helps partners to open new opportunities for collaboration with other European HEIs, with which LMTA has a wide network and long-standing traditions of cooperation. Project’s aim is to strengthen the administrative competencies of Ukrainian staff, facilitate the exchange of teaching knowledge between lecturers and students, and foster the creation of European values and a mature civil society in process of sustaining higher education. Ukrainian higher education institutions have expanded their international relations with Lithuanian and international higher theater networks, which has opened pathways for young people into a wider world & created greater career opportunities for them.
