Objectives

Summary of our Project Global warming and the climate crisis is one of the greatest threats facing humanity and a problem that needs to be addressed in a serious manner. Scientific data show that the increasing concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is leading to warming of the planet and changes in climate systems. These changes can lead to a range of negative impacts. In particular, these include extreme weather events, sea level rise, drought, degradation of ecosystems and reduction of biodiversity. In this sense, international co-operation and decisive policy steps are important in combating the climate crisis. In addition to issues such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, expanding the transition to renewable energy sources, implementing the necessary steps to increase energy efficiency, efforts should also be made to ensure that societies adapt to climate change and become resilient. It is important that individuals and organisations contribute to this effort by raising awareness on this issue. Therefore, steps such as saving energy, preferring sustainable products, developing conscious consumption habits to protect the environment are important steps to be taken in order for everyone to contribute. Objectives Met by our Project: #It contributed to raising awareness of our participants about the climate crisis and global warming and increasing their knowledge on this issue. #By emphasising the reality and severity of climate change, it contributed to raising awareness of both the participants and the target audience about the need to take action and to gain individual awareness. #The adoption of sustainable lifestyles was encouraged and awareness was raised in this direction. #The need to combat climate change was emphasised. #Activities were carried out with our participants on the causes, consequences and solutions of the global warming problem. #Statistical data on global warming and climate change were analysed. #It contributed to the development of social skills, language skills and creativity of our participants with fewer opportunities. #It contributed to raising awareness about Erasmus+ and Youthpass Certificate. #It raised people's awareness about the opportunities and priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme. #It was ensured that our participants and target audience gained awareness on environmentally friendly practices and developed an awareness of environmental protection. #Partner organisations were supported to acquire innovative approaches, develop their institutional capacities, increase their member portfolios, cooperate and use non-formal learning methods. #It was emphasised that discriminatory, racist and prejudiced attitudes should be avoided. #Our participants were made aware of the importance of conducting scientific research to better understand the causes and effects of melting glaciers and sea level rise. #Our participants were sensitised about global issues such as melting polar ice caps and rising sea levels. #It was emphasised how the melting of polar ice caps affects not only the polar regions but also the climate and environmental systems worldwide. #It was pointed out that international co-operation should be encouraged and supported in combating global environmental problems.
