Objectives

We wanted to carry out the 'I See You' project as part of the Erasmus+ KA152 youth exchange program because we believe that social connection, self-awareness, empathy, and communication are essential skills for young people to develop in order to become responsible and active citizens in today's society. The issues we wanted to address with this project include the growing sense of isolation and disconnection among young people, particularly in the digital age. Many young people feel disconnected from their peers and communities, and struggle to understand and connect with others. Additionally, there is a lack of emphasis on emotional intelligence and empathy in formal education, which can lead to difficulties in communication and relationships. Our project's objectives were to: - Promote social connection and understanding among young people from different cultural backgrounds - Develop self-awareness and empathy among participants - Improve communication skills among participants - Encourage active participation in young activities - Encourage civic responsibility and empowerment to make a positive change in communities - Bridge intercultural gaps and communication among young people
