For us to overcome the challenges listed above, we came to the following 3 organisational development objectives: 1 - Improve how we organise and sustain ourselves internally as an organisation, in addition to transmitting these skills to our learners. 2 - Engage with a broader group of learners by improving our ability to co-create inclusive narratives and approaches with our learners. 3 - Diversify our specialised content and expertise to act as a reference point for cutting-edge anti-racist education and consultancy.
Lëtz Rise Up (LRU) is a non-profit women's adult education association who works to prevent discrimination, promote active citizenship and entrepreneurship, and run civic engagement campaigns around equal treatment and ethno-racial discrimination. Educators carry out actions to achieve these objectives, by creating a space for reflection, meeting and exchange including the organisation of debates, meetings, workshops, training and artistic activities. By applying for this Erasmus+ project, we are seeking strategic capacity building and exchange with CSOs working on similar topics, to address challenges which are hindering us to increase our organisation’s impact on anti-racist education in Luxembourg. These challenges are: Challenge 1: Resilience of our organisation and membership Challenge 2: Our ability to engage with a broader group of learners Challenge 3: Lack of opportunities for exchange with anti-racist providers within Luxembourg
