Objectives

The objectives of the Project are the same as those of previous years. The Mobisciences project, developed by the Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg, aims to promote scientific culture among young people aged 13 to 25. We wish to offer an international platform that allows participants to exchange ideas and create and develop projects while discovering the richness of cultural and scientific differences. The programme brings together young scientists and science enthusiasts from Luxembourg, Belgium, France, Portugal, and Morocco. These scientific events enable participants to present their projects to an audience with shared interests, explore various scientific disciplines, and forge lasting friendships. The specific objectives of the Mobisciences programme include: - Promoting Science: Raising awareness among young people about science and its importance in society. - Encouraging Scientific Careers: Motivating young people to consider careers in scientific and technological fields by demonstrating that everyone can contribute. - Facilitating Partnerships: Establishing exchanges of scientific knowledge between different cultures and countries. - Developing Social and Intercultural Skills: Allowing participants to interact and socialise with their peers. - Promoting Inclusion and Diversity: Ensuring activities are accessible to all young people, particularly those from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. We are committed to inviting participants with fewer opportunities and providing support measures for non-English speakers, for example, ensuring an enriching and equitable experience for all. Through this initiative, we hope to contribute to forming a new generation of passionate scientists and engineers while fostering intercultural acceptance and cooperation.
