Objectives

One of the main objectives of this project was to fully inform students about the opportunities to participate in short-cycle internships or studies under the Erasmus+ program, including BIP (Blended Intensive Program), as well as about all forms of additional financial support available to participants with limited mobility opportunities. Special attention was given to doctoral students, who actively took advantage of this opportunity by participating in short-cycle combined internships. As a result, the number of student mobilities significantly increased, reaching the same level as in the 2022 project. At the same time, staff were particularly encouraged to apply for various training abroad. Staff participated in English language courses, stress management training, communication management workshops, and others. Additionally, RTU Liepāja staff participated as BIP lecturers in these programs abroad. We also actively used the "invited staff from the enterprise" mobility opportunities by hosting various media artists, sound art specialists, and music therapists from Europe. We are pleased that the Erasmus program is integrated into almost all areas at RTU Liepāja – guest lecturers and field specialists visit the university, we host exchange students, and there have been more than 450 unique mobilities abroad.
