The main objective of the project implementation at Daugavpils University was to promote the active participation of students (from all study levels and fields) and staff (both academic and general personnel) in professional development activities within an international environment. Within the framework of the project, the following activities were planned and implemented: student study mobility, student traineeship mobility (including recent graduates’ traineeships), academic staff teaching mobility and general staff training mobility, as well as the implementation of two Blended Intensive Programmes at Daugavpils University. A key priority during project implementation was to ensure equal opportunities for all mobility participants to take part in the programme – regardless of their background, age, social circumstances, or field of study or work – thereby supporting the inclusion of representatives from diverse social groups. Additionally, the project set out to achieve the following objectives: • strengthen the international visibility and competitiveness of Daugavpils University, • promote internationalisation and expand cooperation beyond Latvia, • facilitate intercultural exchange and the sharing of best practices, • encourage participants to learn new languages, • reinforce cooperation with existing partners, • develop intercultural competences among mobility participants, • foster understanding of inclusion, common European values, and a sense of belonging to the European Union.
