The Erasmus+ project approved 2 staff teaching mobilities and 4 staff training mobilities. Due to the high level of staff interest, more mobilities were implemented than originally planned: 3 staff teaching mobilities and 4 staff training mobilities. Olaine Technology College of Riga Technical University, in implementing the Erasmus+ Higher Education Staff Mobility for academic and general staff, sought to achieve the following results: 1) Acquire new knowledge regarding the methods used in conducting study courses and laboratory work. 2) Supplement knowledge on various modern topics and training methods applied in both theoretical and practical study courses. 3) Develop cooperation skills in a multicultural environment and in transnational working groups. 4) Improve foreign language proficiency, including the use of professional terminology. 5) Establish new scientific contacts. 6) Obtain information on new opportunities for cooperation. The project also aimed to promote green travel by encouraging staff to use buses and/or trains as a means of transport to and from the mobility destination, thereby reducing environmental impact compared to more polluting means of travel. Furthermore, the project promoted inclusion by enabling participation of a lecturer with limited foreign language proficiency but extensive professional experience, ensuring that valuable expertise could be shared and applied during the mobility.
