The basis of the project is the Academy’s need to be included in the corporate European Higher Education Area (EHEA), as well as to renew the understanding and development of the goals of European higher education, promoting their development in higher education and the profession. Erasmus+ programme enhances societal links through mobility, exchanges and capacity building, nurturing social resilience, human development, employability, active participation and ensuring valuable channels for people-to-people cooperation based on European values. The main goal is internationalization, innovative approach to research and studies, in-work training modules, deepening qualitative culture of institution (in unity with employment policy in the EU), active citizenship and caritative cohesion – which is unthinkable outside the context of employment, active student participation and social cohesion. We are aware of the importance of developing European civic identity and values in students through strategic cooperation in higher education. Secondary goal - emphasis on education, research and innovation development in study programs by introducing study courses that can be prioritized in terms of content to be high priorities within the next generation of EU funding programmes. Transnational cooperation networks between universities purposefully develop employment policy in the European Union: this cannot happen outside the curriculum’s innovative links with EU social policy. Our approach to the project focuses on the strengthening role of the EU in advancing the association between higher education discourse and the idea of the knowledge-intensive economy. We will illustrate to students, how narratives of the globalisation, labor-competitiveness and knowledge-based economy circulated in the EU higher education policy during the past decades. We will show the way to the idea of entrepreneurial academy and academic entrepreneurship as key form of knowledge transfer from higher education institutions to society. All types of mobility are based on the idea of how to build innovative bridges to the EU civic tasks and values - fostering inclusion, civic engagement, and a shared European identity, through promoting the mobility of studies, traineeships and teaching staff – thus making Erasmus+ programme more inclusive and impactful, and to ensuring it as integral part of being educated in Europe, The tasks of the project are: a) to develop excellence in studies, traineeships through fostering innovative ideas; b) transfer and equalization of academic knowledge between HEIs - direction towards obtaining joint degrees; c) focus attention of realization of the political tasks of global European integration, climate changes, digital transition, and social dialogue in all study programs; d) increasing the importance and implementation of lifelong learning – to pay greater attention to the role of further training, upskilling and reskilling in the education of social workers in study programmes, as it is stated in European Commission’s Communication on the Union of Skills, which includes the Basic Skills Action Plan (2025).
