This year, we wanted to focus on developing entrepreneurial skills. With this focus in mind, we developed and implemented 3 educational programs that involve all-around leadership, self-presentation, an action-based mindset, and other skill development for youth workers and youngsters involved. FLOWFACTOR YW MOBILITY The purpose of the activity was to increase the potential of people working with people by exposing them to various supporting theories, team-building and strategic experience-based activities, and group and individual processes, thereby gaining a deeper and experience-based understanding of sustainable team management. The objectives were: To support participants to create a clear picture about themselves of who they are as a team manager To share & exchange supportive team management theories To have first-hand experience with team management in various forms To create a challenging & safe learning environment for the participants where they can grow To experiment with building the team management processes in the daily life of the participants OCEAN OF MOTION YOUTH EXCHANGE With this activity, we aimed to tackle the root causes of youth unemployment by exploring and directly addressing the challenges. Being young ourselves, and having experienced the same challenges, we aimed to support young people in their transition to employment by enhancing their self-knowledge and awareness, boosting their self-confidence, developing various soft skills, all through non-formal learning activities, and creating a space for networking and exchange of opportunities, including those of Erasmus+ Programme. The further impact is created after the participants return to their communities, share their experience, opportunities and implement what they’ve learned in their daily and professional life. Keeping in mind the aim of the project and the objectives of Erasmus+ Programme, we set out these 7 objectives for the youth exchange programme: 1) Create a supportive environment with shared tasks and responsibilities to encourage mutual support and community living; 2) Encourage exploration of individual passions and strengths through embodiment, creativity and reflective practices, helping participants gain clarity on what they want to pursue in their professional life; 3) Develop soft skills through context learning such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity; 4) Raise awareness of individual and collective needs, helping participants to articulate their own needs and understand how they can align with job opportunities and organisational cultures; 5) Introduce resources and opportunities available for young people, such as internships, volunteer programs, and Erasmus+ opportunities; 6) Encourage the sense of initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset by providing space for participants to create and lead their own activities; 7) Provide space for networking and sharing opportunities, supporting participants to exchange knowledge, experiences, and job-related resources with each other and discover pathways through Erasmus+ and other platforms; 8) Increase participants’ intercultural awareness, understanding different perspectives and cultivating a sense of belonging to Europe. By the end of the project, these objectives were reached, and the participants were better equipped with higher self-knowledge and self-awareness, practical tools for personal and professional growth (IKIGAI, The Wheel of Life, Growth Mindset, Vision Board), and many soft skills needed to make good progress in their personal and professional lives. IMPULSE YOUTH EXCHANGE The youth exchange aimed to build young people's mental resilience. The idea emerged from recognizing the unique challenges young people face in their youth, especially related to their mental health, fear of rejection, uncertainty, lack of self-confidence, and self-knowledge. We intended to help participants build the mental strength needed to persist in challenges in youth, especially in transition periods of life such as school to university or education to the labour market. The activity included experiential learning methods such as an outdoor expedition, community-building exercises, personal development activities, and workshops designed to push participants beyond their limiting beliefs. The participants were able to create their program towards the end of theyouth exchange and implement their learnings. The goal was to build resilience and create a safe space for self-exploration and growth, encouraging participants to learn from each other, take initiative, and become more adaptable to change. Upon returning to their communities, participants would apply their newly gained skills and mindsets in everyday life, creating further impact through shared experiences and follow-up activities.
